The locally owned practice in Huntingdon is looking for a veterinary surgeon to join the inclusive, forward thinking team.
The missing puzzle piece will be a Vet with ideally at least 1 year’s clinical experience, happy with routine presentations looking to progress in a busy and supportive general practice and passionate about providing high levels of client/patient care.
Work-Life balance and enjoying where you work is incredibly important in this practice, so finding a work pattern and environment to fit your needs is imperative. Flexible rota which can be tailored to your out of work commitments and include options such as late starts, longer lunch breaks or split shifts, early finishes, and different combinations of days per week can be offered. A weekend role is also available.
Owing to the interests of the current team this role can be tailored to suit your interests whether that be a surgical bias, consult-only role or something else.
The practice is happy to pay for Visa’s/Sponsorship for anyone outside of the UK providing that you have previously worked in a UK practice.
A bit more about the practice:
This is a busy first opinion veterinary practice who pride themselves on providing the best care possible to each individual patient. The core members of the team have been working there a number of years creating a friendly, close-knit feeling. The team comprises of supportive experienced vets and nurses with a strong RVN to vet ratio, 2 VCA’s and a dedicated reception team. The nurses pick up schedule three procedures and consults allowing our vets to concentrate on their cases and work-ups.
In addition, they welcome a visiting orthopaedic surgeon and cardiologist. This, and the fact of having a high rate of insured clients, means the practice keeps a lot of our work-ups in house.
They are happy to support extra qualifications, certificates and CPD for the team and there is opportunity with this role to take on additional responsibilities if you are looking for progression into a more senior role.
The clinic is based in a great spot for commuting with London and Cambridge both easily accessible via public transport and the A14/A1 if travelling by road.
This role can be full or part time, within 1 in 4 weekends, no OOHs or Sundays and in addition to a salary of £65k+ FTE which is negotiable DOE, the benefits include:
