Equine Vet

We are currently seeking an Equine Vet or Equine/Large Animal Vet (camelid / small holding farm animals / goats).

Some out of hours cover may be required and, in return, we will be offering good rates, a vehicle will be supplied.

Accommodation is available if required.

Experience level of candidate

We are looking for an experienced veterinary surgeon

Size of Vet & Nurse team in practice

25+ vets several have specialist areas / 6 Equine / LA vets 

35+ nurses

Facilities and equipment on site

The practices are fully equipped, including SA CT

Physios, hydro pools and tanks, grooming lounges, agility, dog trainers

Package 

Package is negotiable for the right candidate

Holiday, CPD, Professional Memberships or other benefits

This is flexible and negotiable, depends on what the candidate is looking for - everything considered

CPD is encouraged.

Hours

Most do from 20 - 41 hours a week - but this is flexible

1 night duty per week - nurses take OOH calls and are on site (so only emergency calls for the vets) 

2 weekends in 6 and 4 days off in lieu. (08.30 - 18.30 weekend days)

The practices are Independent and to remain so.

6 practices - including SA / LA & EQ
