Registered Veterinary Nurse/2nd Year SVN - Flexible Hours
We’re looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse or second-year Student Veterinary Nurse to join us here at our branch.
We are on a mission to be the first choice for veterinary care in our area, aiming to have an affordable patient-centred treatment option for every patient that walks through the door.
We have a strong ethos for being at the very heart of our community and we need great people to join our team to help us realise this vision.
About the role:
We have full-time hours available but if part-time or flexible working is best for you then we can work out a rota to give the best of both worlds.
Our full-time colleagues work 3.5 days a week with 1 in 6 Saturdays.
We value our time away from work (many of us have interesting hobbies) so if there’s a rota that would suit you better we are open to discussions.
You will have a good experience in veterinary nursing, excellent customer service, and communication skills, be an effective team player, have a systematic approach when making decisions, and be able to carry out the role effectively with planning and organisation.
You are friendly, down-to-earth, have a genuine interest in animal welfare and enjoy the variety provided by clients and colleagues alike.
Most importantly you will be open to learning and having fun whilst being progressive in your career.
We can offer:
- No out of hours
- 20 minute appointments
- Scheduled breaks and allotted times for notes, case discussions and phone calls
- 1 in 6 Saturdays
- 5.5 weeks holiday increasing to 6.6 after two years of service and an extra day off for your birthday
- 3 days CPD and £800 CPD Allowance
Annual RCVS Fees paid
20% discount at all Pets At Home Stores
- Salary range of £23,000 - £35,000 annual increases with experience/qualifications
We are an equal opportunities employer
