About Us
At our practice, we pride ourselves on doing the absolute best for our clients and their pets in the local community. We are a long-established family practice with a very experienced team that joined IVC last year to augment our drive to provide the best working environment for staff and in turn optimum service to our clients. We have purpose-built facilities including digital x-ray, ultrasound scanner, IDEXX in-house lab etc. We have 2 certificate holders and are also a training practice for vet nurses. We can provide accommodation if required and benefit from our location being only 30 minutes from Belfast and 40 minutes from the beautiful North Coast.
About the Team and Culture
We have a very sociable and welcoming team made up of 6 small animal vets & 4 farm animal vets including 2 certificate holders plus 15 nursing and support staff. You will need excellent communication skills, a sense of humor, and the ability to problem solve in an environment where every day is different! Locally, we sponsor a number of sporting teams/clubs (rugby, hockey, swimming) and events (Ladies Golf Open, Ploughing & Vintage Society) within the community, and our SA Clinical Director also does educational school talks to emphasise responsible pet care and safety around animals. We are very aware of the importance of a happy team and care deeply about staff mental health and well-being.
