Our small animal practice in Hampshire is growing fast and we are now looking for an additional Veterinary Surgeon to join this friendly team!
The team see a varied caseload including exotics. You will be joining a team of 2 full-time and 1 part-time Vet, 2 RVN’s, 2 Student Nurses and 3 Receptionists.
This is an exciting time for you to join this rapidly growing practice, focused on building a strong local reputation by providing quality and friendly service.
We are close to Southampton with easy access to the picturesque New Forest National Park, making it a desirable place to anyone wishing to explore both the coast and countryside.
This role is full-time or part-time. It includes only 1 in 3 Saturday mornings and no OOH as the practice is closed on Saturday afternoons and Sundays, ensuring you enjoy an excellent work/life balance!
Successful applicants should be confident in an occasional sole charge role and enjoy the variety provided by the clients and colleagues. Ideally, you will have experience in surgery. You will have excellent customer service and communication skills, be an effective team player, have a systematic approach when making decisions and be able to carry out the role effectively with planning and organisation. You are friendly, down-to-earth, have a genuine interest in animal welfare and enjoy the variety provided by clients and colleagues alike.
