Veterinary Surgeon (Ideal for a new/ recent Graduate)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a veterinary surgeon to join our fun and friendly team!
This is based in a small animal practice, close to the A38 with good transport links to Nottingham, Burton, and the Peak District. We are seeking an enthusiastic, newly qualified, or experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly team on a full-time basis.
Our modern surgery has been designed to industry leading standards, with state-of-the-art equipment and in-house laboratory facilities. We are a Rabbit Friendly Practice and a silver standard ICC Cat Friendly Clinic, working regularly with Cats Protection.
The practice currently has 3 vets, 5 nurses, and 3 client care advisors.
The ideal candidate to join our professional team will have good general small animal surgical and medical skills as well as a good knowledge of working up cases. This rewarding position includes a shared weekend rota of 1 in 3 weekends, 4 day week, and occasional sole charge but no OOH. You will be part of a team dedicated to providing superb client and animal care standards.
We are able to consider candidates looking for full-time hours (40 hours per week) or a job share between two part-time Vets. The role would be ideal for a new graduate.
