Job Description

We pride ourselves on providing first class care to our clients and patients to the same standard that we expect for our own pets. With full clinical freedom, we deliver high standards of surgical and medical care.

We continuously and actively update our policies and procedures, to follow the current evidence based veterinary medicine, with all the team encouraged to get involved. The team consists of 5 vets, 5 rvn’s and 3 client care team members. We are looking to expand our nursing team to help support our ever-growing patient requirements.

Based in a purpose-built premises, we are equipped with an excellent range of diagnostic facilities. The practice includes three consult rooms, an operating theatre, a diagnostic suite (with digital X-ray and ultrasound), comprehensive Idexx In-house laboratory equipment plus all the other usual equipment. We benefit from separate dog ward, cat ward and an isolation ward. 


Full time colleagues work a 40-hour week, with one full weekday off. Long weekend off after working a weekend. Birthday off. To create an improved work/life balance. 5.6 weeks holiday per year, which increases to 6.6 after two full calendar years (January to December). 

No out of hours. 

Salary dependent of experience however very competitive with annual pay review built in. Generous CPD allowance to support your ongoing development needs and interests. RCVS and VDS fees paid and BVNA membership paid. Staff discount for your own pets, after successful completion of your 12-week probation period.

We are looking for Registered Veterinary Nurses, who are looking for a fun and supportive team to work with. Wanting to substantially increase our nursing team, we have the possibility to add at least 2/3 new members to our team. 

The candidates must have great client communication skills, enjoy working in a team, eager to develop into the best version of themselves, while supporting their colleagues to do the same.
