Our well established, busy and progressive surgery is looking for a team focused, forward thinking veterinary surgeon to join them on a permanent basis.

The current team has 1 Full Time Veterinary Surgeon (we are growing this to a team size of 3!) and you would be fully supported by an experienced nursing and support team: including a Practice Manager, 5 RVNs and a fantastic front of house team. We are proud of the close-knit working relationship within our team, and our positive outlook on working together whilst also always striving to work at the highest standards of care possible.

The team benefits from a variety of individual interests and specialist knowledge including one team member holding a GPCert in Small animal practice. We would love to find a vet with an area of interest, and would thoroughly support this.

We are seeking a Vet who is client focused and has excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will be confident with routine surgical and medical caseloads, and also want to become part of a fun and welcoming team.

Ideally, we are hoping to find a vet that would like to work full time (40 hours a week with a Saturday morning on rota) However, we are open minded for the right candidate and would certainly consider a part time applicant for this role. There are no OOHs responsibility with this role, as we want our employees to have a great work/life balance.

The practice is based in a great area of Wakefield and is also conveniently located close to all major transport routes including the M62 and M1.
