Veterinary Surgeon - Full or Part Time

Due to continued growth, we are pleased to offer a new opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our passionate and friendly team. This position is for a full-time vet, but we’re more than happy to discuss a part-time position or flexible hours. And if you apply directly, we’ll offer you a £2000 signing on bonus to welcome you into our practice.

We are seeking for an enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon who would enjoy a small animal case load and who already has experience from first opinion practice and feels comfortable consulting and confident in routine surgery.

 Whilst you will get the chance to work autonomously with some sole charge and have the clinical freedom to treat your patients as you need, you can also benefit from working as part of an experienced and friendly team.

We are RCVS accredited and a well-equipped small animal veterinary practice with air-conditioned consulting rooms and theatre. It has separate cats and dog wards and an isolation ward, an ultrasound machine, digital x-ray and an inhouse lab. To top it all, most of our clients is insured, which will make your life easier and your patients healthier.

Only 6 miles away from central Southampton the practice is in an area of family residential homes, with a strong retail offering which attracts people from a wide area and there is easy access to coastal and rural areas.  

We’re pretty flexible, if you want a full-time position, or a part-time, or something in between, we’re happy to get that for you. We’re closed on Sundays and there is no OOH. There is also admin time factored into your week so that you can breathe and catch up!

We’re happy to inform that we’re able to offer fully supported and funded visa sponsorship to work in the UK.
