Are you currently working in the city and long for the country life? Or perhaps considering a step up in your career as a vet? We are a busy small animal practice that operate independently with the benefit of a brand support office. Led by our owner and head vet (Cambridge valedictorian), this is an excellent opportunity to join a tight and supportive (freshly refurbished) practice.

We offer surgical procedures, dental, digital x-ray, ultrasound, with some in house lab testing facilities and are seeking an small animal veterinary surgeon, able to perform spay & castrate surgeries and looking to gain experience in other procedures. Build up your experience of working up and managing cases with support from an exceptional head vet, team of qualified nurses and support colleagues. No OOH or Sunday working.

You will have been qualified for a minimum of 1 year and have UK experience, excellent English if it isn't your first language and be driven, efficient, thorough and enjoy the company of colleagues that strive for excellence. We are an established, friendly practice with an exceptional reputation and staff that have been here since we opened. We've never needed to advertise for clients and value our loyal, long standing client base with whom we've cultivated wonderful relationships.

We enjoy an independent approach to the practice, but with all the benefits of a support office that goes with our brand. We are situated in a popular retail park (with a 24 hour gym next door), based in the beautiful historic city of Salisbury and are surrounded by stunning countryside. The New Forest on our doorstep and the Salisbury plains and Stonehenge are just north of us. London is just over an hour away by train and the coast is a 30 minute drive south. Salary: £38k - £45k commensurate with experience, with excellent advancement opportunity.

Hours: Full time hours. No OOH, Sundays or emergency work. (Though there is opportunity to work some OOH shifts with a local provider)
