Permanent Vet (also locum option)

Independent practice is looking for a permanent vet to join our team. We are very much a first opinion practice looking to offer a good service to our clients.

This is a position that would suit a recent graduate or someone with some experience who is looking to settle. We still do our own OOH, a service that our clients (and other practices' clients) very much appreciate. OOH is on a one in four rota. It is usually not very busy and there is always a nurse on site to take the phones and see to any inpatients, back up is there if needed.

Working week is 4 days , 8:30 to 5:30 with OOH hours (one weekday night and one full weekend in 4 and 1 Friday night/Saturday morning in 4), one fixed weekday off. 24 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Salary 30,000 to 50,000, depending on experience, CPD allowance 1,000.

RCVS fees paid.

We are also needing a locum to cover for at least 2 months, partly until we can find a permanent vet and partly to cover for an injured vet. 4 to 5 days a week, locum's choice, help with OOH rota would be appreciated but is not essential. Accommodation available but will need to have own transport.
