Veterinary Surgeon
Are you ready for the next step in your career as an experienced Small Animal Vet? Are you passionate about people and their pets, with a wealth of experience in GP practice?
We are currently recruiting for a busy small animal clinic in Salisbury that enjoys an independent approach to practice, but with all the benefits of a support office, meaning they can focus on delivering a continued high standard of clinical care. They offer surgical procedures, dental, digital x-ray, ultrasound, with some in-house lab testing facilities.
The practice is now seeking another vet to join the growing team and offer this position with no OOH or Sundays. Your days would be clearly structured with dedicated time for emergency/on the day appointments, in-patient rounds and admin. Consults are given 20 minutes as standard, with 10 minutes for boosters.
In joining the team and supporting a great community and client base, we are looking for a colleague with solid GP and sole charge experience, a team player with great communication skills and someone that shares the passion for providing the highest level of veterinary care.
Along with a salary of up to £66,000 dependent on experience, all the standard benefits are on offer (pension, CPD and congresses, healthcare, paid memberships, life assurance etc.) plus a few more, such as excellent career progression and exclusive lifestyle and shopping discounts. The practice is also happy to provide relocation packages from within or outside the UK, including visa sponsorship if needed (they are an A+ rated sponsor).
Salisbury is a fantastic location to work. The New Forest is on the doorstep, London is just over an hour away by train and the coast is a 30-minute drive south. There’s plenty to discover in Salisbury itself, and the practice makes sure you have the work/life balance to enjoy it.
We want our colleagues to be as diverse as our clients. Our teams are inclusive and celebrate difference, so if you meet our role requirements, we’d love to hear from you.
